  Home street has repeatedly found ways to raise my morgage payments. Also it is very common to get mixed information from their representatives. My latest insident involves homestreets escrow department sending my flood insurance payment to the wrong insurance company after I specifically called over a month in advance, told them specifically no to send any payments to my previous company! Now they are trying to say that when I called their rep, they thought that I was approving continuing with my old company. This make no sense at all because they automatically renew my old pollicy whether I approved it in the past or not! So obviously there would be no reason to call to "approve it!" Something similar has happened several different times when I have tried to take steps to get better insurance policies that would lower my morgage payment. When I first got my morgage payment through them, it was 840$, now eight years later I am paying 1040$! A small portion of which is due to increased property taxes which is understandable, but most of it comes from increased insurace rates! I btw have never made an insurance claim durring the extent of the loan! Its hard not to think that homestreet works with insurance companies to increase morgage payments which in turn makes people not be able to afford their house. Then they can forclose, on you steal all of the money you have invested through your hard work, then start the process over with whoever buys the property next!
